Service

I am eager to continue advising students and serving on committees that address the needs of marginalized groups as well as to begin student-faculty collaborative research.

I’ve held various professional service positions, such as Faculty Advisor to a UAlbany Student Association group, Panel Discussant and Table Facilitator at conference, university, and departmental events, and Secretary of both of my graduate programs’ sociology student organizations. I’m also active with several sociological associations, and have presented papers, organized sessions, and volunteered at various national and regional conferences since 2009.

Please see below for more details.
